For strategies, strategy providers can choose to archive a strategy if they no longer wish to keep it available for copying. Archiving makes the strategy view-only for both the provider and investors, and permanently disables new investments.
What happens when a strategy is archived?
For new investors:
- The strategy becomes unavailable for investment.
- It is removed from the Copy Trading app and website.
For current investors:
- All active investments in the strategy are closed.
- Archived strategies appear in their investment history only.
- The respective strategy will be available for viewing only. New investments cannot be placed.
- Closed investments will display the date and reason for closure due to archiving.
For strategy providers:
- All active investments and orders will be closed accordingly when the market for them is open.
- The strategy's trading account remains active, but trading will not affect the strategy statistics or the trading reliability level.
- Performance fees are calculated and credited at the end of the billing period.
- Strategy statistics are updated and viewable in the Fee Report. Statistics will stop after the archive date.
- The strategy becomes view-only.
Archived strategies cannot be restored.
