You can find an overview of the strategy which includes the return, risk score, commission, orders, as well the strategy provider’s updates on their news feed. Read more on the information on strategy you can find in the Social Trading app.
Copying your first strategy
To start investing in a strategy:
- On the strategy page, tap on Start Copying.
- Enter the amount in USD you wish to invest, taking note of the minimum investment amount set by the strategy provider.
- If you do not have sufficient funds, top up your investment wallet.
- If the minimum investment is too high, please select a different strategy or increase the investment amount.
- You will see the message Your investment was opened successfully and all trades on the selected strategy will be copied onto your investment using the copying coefficient and current market prices.
Commission fee
When you copy a strategy, you can see the level of commission that strategy uses. As a strategy starts to become profitable, investors pay a certain percentage of their earnings to the strategy provider at the end of that trading period according to this formula:
Investment Commission (USD) = (Investment Gross Equity + Sum of paid Commission) - (Invested amount + Copy dividends) × % commission - Sum of paid Commission
If there is no previously paid commission, the formulae will be:
Investment_Commission (USD) = (Gross Equity - Invested_amount + Copy_dividends) * %commission
- Gross Equity - Investment amount + Investment Orders Profit or Loss - Commission paid
- sum(Paid_Commission) - total paid commission to date for the particular investment.
- Copy_dividends - A proportion of withdrawn profit from the strategy provider.
- Invested_amount - investment’s starting balance.
- %commission - commission rate set by the strategy provider.
- All results from the formula are rounded down.
Important: No commission will be rendered for loss and any profits made by a Strategy Provider subsequently will not garner them commission until that profit exceeds the amount lost previously.
