As an investor, you’ll only pay a performance fee to the strategy provider if your investment earns a profit during a billing period. If the investment incurs a loss, no performance fee is charged. A performance fee will only be applied again once your investment not only recovers the previous loss but generates a profit beyond that loss in a future billing period.
The percentage of the performance fee is set by the strategy provider when the strategy is created and cannot be changed.
The performance fee is deducted from your investment's earnings at the end of the billing period.
If you choose to close your investment before the billing period ends, the performance fee will be deducted once you stop copying a strategy, provided the investment has made a profit. However, the fee will only be paid to the strategy provider at the end of the billing period.
