Like a pilot understands their navigational instruments, an investor needs to understand the tools, metrics, and options available to them in order for their copied trades to soar. Likewise, a strategy provider hoping to have their trades copied must know what investors look for from their strategies.

Opening a strategy page:
- Log in to the Social Trading app.
- Browse the available strategies presented, or filter strategies based on your preferences
- Select your chosen strategy.
At the top of any strategy, it is possible to favorite or share a strategy; simply tap the star or sharing icon respectively.
The Overview Tab
The first tab you’re presented with is the Overview Tab, which details important things to consider.
Risk Score
The risk score reflects the level of risk taken. The higher the score, the greater the risk and chance of making money, or losing money more rapidly.
- Moderate: 1-5
- High: 6-8
- Extra High: 9-10
Return
This charts the growth seen in the strategy. Return is updated daily with statistics that calculate the change in a strategy’s equity from the beginning of the month until the end of the month.
Details
This area will share preferences set by the strategy provider as well as the engagement this strategy has earned.
Commission
This shows the amount of commission paid by investors to the strategy provider when an investment returns a profit. Should a strategy provider change their commission rate, it will only affect new investments. In other words, the amount payable in commission for an existing investment will not change.
Leverage
A ratio of the strategy provider’s own funds to borrowed funds, which are invested in a strategy. Higher leverage means increased exposure to the markets due to increase in contract size. Please note, leverage does not impact the Risk Score.
Investors
This shows how many investors are currently copying this strategy.
Equity
This is the total value of the account if all positions are closed; it also shows the account currency of the strategy.
Description
This is written by the strategy provider, providing more information about the strategy; this is a good opportunity to understand the style of the strategy provider. You can also see when a strategy was created from here.
Symbols
Shows the ratio of which instruments are traded by the strategy provider as a percentage.
About trader
Gives more detailed information about the strategy provider.
Trading Period
This is a set amount of time between commission payments and ends on the last Friday of the month.
The Statistics Tab
Welcome to the statistics tab, where all the data lives and is broken down for your consideration.
This tab is split into 2 important sections:
- Return
- Equity
These present a more in-depth look at the respective metric with the ability to set the time frame to look at by tapping any number of the options at the bottom of the graph.
News Feed
The News Feed is where the strategy provider (the owner of the strategy) communicates with his investors. As general advice, it is recommended that you check this space when considering a strategy, as an active and engaging strategy provider may build a strong relationship with their investors.
The Orders Tab
Here is where active and archived orders are collected, under open orders and history respectively.
Each entry here can be tapped on to be expanded for more in-depth information about the order.
Minimum Investment
Once you click Start copying you will be asked to enter the amount you wish to invest in that particular strategy. You will see a range of the permissible figures, with a minimum investment amount, which is set by the strategy provider.
